Please follow these guidelines to activate your personal server account and to gain access to this portal.
Note:
You can only perform these steps from within the school.
If you are logging in for the first time, make sure to do it on an Apple Macintosh.
If your payments are not up to date and you have accumulated a
negative balance your account might have been blocked intentionally!
Please see the college Manager for clarification.
If you have problems logging in or you forgot your password, please contact
Step 1
From the Finder “Go” Menu select “Connect to Server…” or press apple-K.
Step 2
Make sure the server address is “server” and click on “connect”.
Step 3
When prompted with the “Connect to Server” dialog box, enter your
student number in the Name-field. You can find your student number on
your student pass (Example: 500111, without R or -). If you have not received one yet, please check with
Choose “Change password… from the options menu.
Step 4
In the Password-field enter your first name the way it is
written on your student pass in small letters. Then enter your new
password and verify it. Confirm by pressing OK.
Step 5
Enter your new password into the Password-field. Confirm by pressing “Connect”.
Step 6
In the following dialog window you can select which folders you
would like to access. If you keep the apple key pressed you can make
multiple selections.
Confirm by hitting OK will cause the selected folders to appear on the desktop.
When you are done, just drag the folders to the trashcan or select them and press apple-E.
Step 7
Login to SAESTUDENT.COM by entering your full name into the
Username-field (firstname lastname, separated by a space) and your new
password (same as for connecting to the server).
